Thailand Toray Science Foundation was founded in 1994 by cooperation of Toray Industries, Inc. (Japan) and Toray Group Companies in Thailand. Since then, the foundation has been carrying on activities with our aim to support the progression of ‘Science and Technology’ in Thailand. Each year the foundation gives awards and grants to scientists or researchers in Thailand.

The awarding of the Science and Technology Research Grants, to provide financial assistance for basic research.
The awarding of the Science Education Awards, to recognize creative and innovative contributions to effective science education in junior and senior high schools.
